The COR initiative seeks to speak to the heart. COR itself is latin for heart, and its imagery of the sacred heart looks to remind us that the heart of Christ looks to speak to our heart: 'Cor ad cor loquitur' - 'Heart speaks to heart'. COR focusses on Prayer, Fraternity, and Formation.

The Knights of Columbus was founded on the principles of the Catholic faith, and COR looks to help all men live that faith. During COR gatherings elements of faith and devotion are experienced in order to give the men participating support in their life of prayer.

Fraternity and brotherhood is essential to the Knights. COR seeks to engage and support all men in finding fraternity with one another. The men participating in COR will find opportunities to spend time with other men who are looking to live their faith.

In order to live our faith, we must know our faith. COR seeks to help all men in coming to a greater understanding and knowledge of their faith. In St. Paul's letter to the Romans, he emphasized a call for us to be transformed by the renewal of our minds, to be filled with Christ.
